The Loaf of Barley is the Bride of Chirst!

What does the Loaf of Barley represent?
A quick summary: On the Feast of Firstfruits, ( Resurrection Day) the firstfruits of the year were gathered in Israel, the FIRST RIPE fruit was the barley harvest . The barley was sifted 13 times and made by the priest into a loaf of barley. The unleavened loaf of barley was lifted up and offered to God at the alter of the Lord in the Holy Temple and was waved along with the sacrificial lamb. Jesus is associated with the barley harvest, in that he rose on the very day of this appointed feast day- Feast of Firstfruits. The Loaf of barley is the corporate overcoming bride body. We see this loaf of barley with Gideon and also we see the loaf of barley multiplied in the hands of the apostles to feed the thousands. The day is coming when the bride body will move as one-man, as Gideon as The Loaf of Barley feeding multitudes as in the days of Yeshua and overthrowing armies as Gideon's army! For more on this study you can watch a powerpoint video on the Loaf of Barley which is Clue 13 to the time frame of his return. Rarely do you hear a sermon message on the Loaf of Barley, the church does not know or understand that the future role of the bride body is found in the loaf of barley, moving as one man (Eph 4:13)
My Study Notes:
THE LOAF OF BARLEY DESCRIBES THE MINISTRY OF THE BRIDE AS WELL AS THE CATCHING AWAY/TRANSLATION TIME FRAME FOLLOWING A BLUE PRINT PATTERN SET BY JESUS!
WHAT CAN ONE LOAF OF BARLEY DO? FEED THE MULTITUDE and OVERTHROW AND ARMY!
The first fruit bride is the loaf of barley, the Loaf of Barley will feed the multitude, bring in the harvest, and overthrow armies! The loaf of barley is lifted up and waved before the alter of God, on the Feast of Firstfruits; this is the “third day”, the day of the catching away/rapture!
The roll of the firstfruits- bride, the loaf of barley can be found in the feeding of the multitude. The barley loaves gives us another clue, the harvest will spring forth and become ripe after the rain that arrives with his coming in Month 1, Nissan. In Songs 1:7-8 the bride feeds and tends the sheep/goats (believers and unbelievers) along the side of the shepherd and in the feeding of the multitude, the loaf of barley is multiplied in the hands of the savior. There are 5 loaves of barley, those five loaves feed 5000 men plus there families. In essence, one loaf of barley could feed 1000 men or 1000 families. This study also looks at Gideon his army, which are all types of firstfruits, just 1 loaf of barley in a dream showed Gideon that they could overcome the enemy without lifting a spear or sword; we can safely say that the loaf of barley has a roll in warfare too. The measure of barley is multiplied from a 2 to 1 measure over wheat in the Old Testament, and in Revelations we examine a measure 3 to 1 over wheat, the price paid for both is the same (Jesus paid the same price for all mankind) but the measure for the barley is multiplied to a measure of 3, which means divine perfection. THE LOAF OF BARLEY is the Bride; the Loaf of Barley is a power house! You will want to be the bride, the loaf of barley!
JESUS BROKE BREAD AND MULTIPLIED 5 LOAVES OF BARLEY BREAD:
In the scriptures that the price paid for wheat and barley is the same. Just like the price paid by Jesus our kinsmen redeemer for all mankind is the same for all. However there is a greater measure given for the barley and the barley is a multiplied measure. Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time [shall] a measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.2 kings 7:1 It may look like the wheat would be more expensive when one first looks at this estimation; the wheat appears to have a greater value over the barley however; there is a greater measure given to the barley for the same price paid for the wheat. In the Old Testament 2 Kings 7:13 there is a double portion, in the book of Revelations 6:6 it is a triple portion given for the barley. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:6 The barley- firstfruit now has a triple portion and a multiplication that has taken place. This multiplication is supported in scripture with Jesus breaking the loaves of barley and feeding the 5000 men (families). The Loaf of Barley appears to be multiplied with yet another measure during the time of tribulation, Rev 6:6.
JESUS A TYPE OF LOAF OF BARLEY AND THE BRIDE IS A TYPE OF LOAF OF BARLEY
RECAP FROM PREVIOUS STUDIES on First fruits
JESUS is risen from the dead on Feast of Firstfruits, The Feast of Firstfruits is associated with Barley: Feast of Firstfuits is “on the morrow OF (NOT “after”) the Sabbath” at Passover (Lev 23:10-14). On the day of Feast of Firstfruits, Jesus rose from the grave ascended to heaven, the ascension of Jesus is symbolized by the waving of the sheaf offering, it is the lifting up the loaf of barley and waving unto the Lord. The firstfruit bride will follow the pattern set by Jesus, and become a wave offering a type of Loaf of Barley that is lifted up and waved before the alter of God. The bride will follow the blueprint steps that Jesus took, Hosea 6:2 after two days he will revive us and on the third day” he will raise us up and we shall live in his sight. The “third day” is the day Firstfruits; this is the very day Jesus rose from the dead. The scriptures confirm that we “will follow after him every man in his own order”. 1 Cor.15:23. From clue 10 study we learned that He, Jesus, will come to us in the latter rain, which means March April, He will come to us in Month 1 which is Nissan, “and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.” Joel 2:23 His arrival month is given to us! (see clues 7-11 for more details)
JESUS’ LAST PUBLIC MIRACLE BEFORE PASSOVER- THE FEEDING OF THE 5000 Jesus Feeds the Multitude with 5 Loaves of Barley The number 5 means Grace-
John 6:9 Jesus fed the multitude with “five barley loaves and two small fishes.” 10And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. 12When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
THE FIRST BRIDE IS THE BARLEY LOAF and is an over-comer, they will be lifted up the by their High Priest Jesus, as a wave offering unto God. Before they can become a Barley Loaf the barley must be sifted many times, pounded and then baked (trials). The firstfruit bride goes through many stages of sifting 13 of them! It is in the brokenness of all that they are, and a dying to self, and their dreams, hopes, ambitions, wants and desires, and placing the barley dough in the hands of their high priest the master maker and baker. Their death will bring forth life; Christ was the firstfruits from the dead. The loaf of barley then will be dedicated, lifted up and broken the hands of Jesus, to help feed the multitude. The firstfruit bride will be apart of the end-time harvest, and become a type of Loaf of barley that will reach and feed and tend to 1000’s to the multitude!
GIDEON AND THE ONE LOAF OF BARLEY THAT DESTROYED AN ARMY: We see that Gideon and his army represent a type of Firstfruits which are the, overcomers who will inherit the promise of God at the end of this present age. The manner in which Gideon’s army defeated the enemy tells how the overcomers, the Firstfruit Bride will receive the promise of the “resurrection on the third day”. Hosea 6:2
God Commissioned Gideon and delivered Israel “The Dream of the Cake of Barley”-Israel had been forced to pay tribute to the Midianites for 7 years. When Israel finally repented cried out to God for deliverance, God commissioned Gideon as a judge, or deliverer, to save Israel. (Judges 6:8-10).
GOD TELLS GIDEON TO NARROW THE SIZE OF THE ARMY-THE SELECTING OF THE FIRSTFRUITS3Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 4And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: 5So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. 6And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
BY THESE 300 MEN WILL I SAVE YOU6And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.7And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place. (Three is the number of Divine perfection, more details below)
God told him to spy out the enemy camp –12And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
Gideon saw the deliverance from the Philistines by a dream of loaf of barley that destroyed the enemies’ tents. And when Gideon was come, behold, [there was] a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along. Judges 7:13
GIDEON UNDERSTOOD THE BARLEY LOAF! God narrowed down the size of His army to deliver Israel; it is the barley loaf the Firstfruits that will overturn the enemy’s tent. 15And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshiped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

A TRUMPET, A TORCH AND EARTHEN VESSEL Each of the men in Gideon’s army was given a trumpet and a torch inside an earthen jar, or pitcher. With little oxygen in the jar, the torches could only glow. At the signal, they blew their trumpets and broke the jars, holding up the torches in the air, causing them to burst into flames. 16And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
-
THE TRUMPET: The trumpet that was blown could very well signify the resurrection of the dead at his first coming and at the catching away/rapture of the bride. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor. 15:52
-
THE TORCHES: The firstfruits Gideon and his army had torches within the pitchers signify the presence of the Holy Spirit, our bodies which are the earthen vessels. This picture is also a picture of the firstfruit bride that will be changed, just as Jesus was transfigured- And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mat. 17: 2
-
At the appointed time, after blowing the trumpet the bodies in the grave and those who are alive and remain will be broken, and the glory of God will burst into view, even as Jesus was transfigured before His disciples. When Paul was expounding upon the transfiguration of Moses (2 Cor. 3 & 4), and is also like Gideon and his army. 2 Cor 4:6, 7: For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
THE LOAF OF BARLEY IS NOT ONLY MEANT TO FEED AND TEND THE SHEEP BUT TO DO BATTLE WITH THE ENEMY! With Gideon it is the 1 loaf of Barley in the dream that smites the enemy’s tent and gives them victory. Gideon as well as his hand selected army are all firstfruits.
THE MULTIPLIED MEASURE GIVEN TO THE BARLEY OVER WHEAT: In Revelations the barley will be given a multiplied measure of three.
What does the three mean?
God’s attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. Three denotes divine perfection; the first occurrence of the number 3 is in Genesis 1:13. "The third day" was the day on which the earth was caused to rise up out of the water, symbolical of that resurrection life which we have in Christ, and in which alone we can worship, or serve, or do any "good works." On the third day- Firstfruits, the bride along with the dead in Christ will be raised up, and will live in his sight and will have a type of 3 measures given, divine perfection.
The loaf of barley will have divine perfection, and it will begin on the third day, which is the Feast of Firstfruits!
· The value of man is set at 50 shekels of silver for a man: The number fifty is the number of jubilee or deliverance consummation. It is the issue of 7 x 7 (72), and points to deliverance and rest following on as the result of the perfect consummation of time. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. Lev 27:3
· And for a women that has been taken advantage of by a man 50 Shekels: Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. Deu 22:29
· THE ESTIMATION OF A SEED OF BARLEY FOR A FIELD: And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD [some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed [shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.Lev 27:16
· The seed for the barley field is the same as the price paid for a man or women. The cost is the same ( Jesus paid the same price for all) but the barley has in 2 kings 7:1 a double portion given, and in Revelations 6:6 it has a triple portion given.
· 1 measure of flour and 2 Measures of barley for the same price, a shekel. And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was [sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.d Testament 2Ki 7:16Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time [shall] a measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.2 kings 7:1
· 3 measures of Barley in Revelations: And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:6
The role of the Barley Loaf in the hands of Jesus is multiplied 1 loaf for 1000 men or families. Just 1 barley loaf or a remnant of Gideon’s army overtakes the enemy, with not one sword lifted…The Loaf of Barley is multiplied to divine perfection in Revelations, it is set apart and is lifted up and waved before God, the Loaf of Barley is multiplied in the hands of Jesus, a Loaf of Barley can destroy and entire army. THE LOAF OF BARLEY is the Bride; the Loaf of Barley is a power house! You will want to be the bride, the loaf of barley!
BE THE BRIDE! BE THE LOAF OF BARLEY!!
All for the Glory of His name!
